Ladies Weekend 2011

YEAH!  The time had come again--a weekend away (just the ladies) with some wonderful Christian friends back to the land of Penn State where we all met and formed lasting friendships.  Two years ago a group of us met and stayed at a beautiful resort near Harrisburg.  This year we decided to go to where it all began. 

We stayed up late, went out late, walked the campus, sat on the lion for some pictures, got ice cream at the creamery and went to the Boalsburg Tavern--a memorable place for many of us that stayed at Penn State for one of the summers in between classes.  Great time.  Great friends.

Here we all are standing on the front porch of the house where many of us lived together.  (I only lived there for about 9 months.  The company I worked for in Doylestown had gone bankrupt and laid everyone off.  Dave and I were dating and I moved up to PSU to live with some girlfriends so Dave and I could be closer.)

Lindsay, Meryl, Carolyn, Jess I, Jess R, Steph, Ellen and Melinda--I love you all.  Thanks for a great weekend.  Looking forward to the next one!

Thanks Dave for letting me go.  I know that boys had a great time at home with you.  I got the re-charge that I need for the next two years....or maybe one???  :)
